Over the years, the focus of Thanksgiving has not been about being around the ones you love and sharing a good meal. The shift has changed to maximizing profit and maximizing sales. The fact that companies are opening their doors on Thanksgiving Day is appalling. The day for these sales is called Black FRIDAY, not Black Thursday and Friday or Black Week. I believe companies should let people be with their families and friends and loved ones, not taking them away to be at work. In addition to the Black Friday frenzy, Cyber Monday is a way to also save money on the up and coming holiday but a problem with this is, sites crash and people miss good deals.
My advice: Go and spend time with your family, there are great deals all year round.
